Teaching with Canvas: Basics is an essential and practical training for faculty who are new to teaching with Canvas. Faculty will learn the following skills: start a new course, import content, upload syllabus, create modules, create assignments, grade student work, maintain gradebook, and create announcements. There will be plenty of time reserved for questions.
This training is offered in-person at the main APU campus and is intended for APU faculty (full-time, part-time, and adjuncts). Please bring a laptop computer to participate in the hands-on activities. Participants who successfully complete the related assessment will receive an attendee badge.
